We were absolutely thrilled with Sara and Tanya decided to host their vow renewal ceremony and reception with us in October!
While they became officially married back in 2014, they hadn't had the opportunity to have the actual wedding celebration with their friends and family that they both wanted. Fast forward two years, and you get to see one of the most beautiful, fun, and family-friendly events we've ever hosted!
The event itself was extremely intimate--only about 80 of Sara and Tanya's closest friends and family attended. After their niece and nephew escorted their adorable twin girls into the ceremony, guests literally surrounded the couple on our balcony as they reaffirmed their love for one another.
Apples served as the inspiration for the reception, which was extremely fitting seeing as Tanya is from apple-country! Centerpieces (made by Sara!) featured fresh green apples and hydrangeas, guests enjoyed an apple-cider bar (complete with the option to "spike" it), and everyone got to take home their own miniature apple pie! It was the perfect theme for a fall event!
One thing that really stood out at the reception was its family-friendly environment. Kids were given an activity box before the ceremony to keep them occupied, and everyone was encouraged to play backyard games like Giant Jenga and Connect Four at the reception.
To say we enjoyed this party is quite an understatement! Cheers to Sara and Tanya, and we wish you many, many years of continued happiness!
Thank you to the vendors that helped make Sara and Tanya's day a success:
