To say that we were excited when our very own Catering Coordinator, Kali, got engaged last summer, would be the understatement of the year. When she decided to let us host her special day, we were ecstatic to begin helping her plan everything.
Kali's style is classic...nothing too bold or flashy, but always timeless. That's exactly how her wedding turned out. As we discussed the color scheme and ideas for the decor, we noticed something. Everything we were discussing had something in common: Kate Spade. It doesn't get much more classic (and fun) than that!
Rose gold sequin runners over white, floor-length linens gave some subtle sparkle, and the black and white striped linen napkins and floral ribbons gave the perfect nod to Kate.
Kali and Chris's ceremony was perfect. One of their friends married them, and everything just felt right. It was relaxed and simple, and you could really feel the love. I think my favorite moment was when Chris had fumbled through one of the lines of his vows when he was repeating them to Kali. Rather than look uncomfortable, he gave a little chuckle, re-stated the line, and he and Kali ended it with a high-five. How cute is that??
Guests enjoys fresh, wood-fired pizza and appetizers from Urban Crust at the reception, and after toasting the newlyweds, they tore up the dance floor under a canopy of stars.
